Being "fugalized" doesn't hurt, well not much, lol. It'll be OK, promise. Before you know it you will be critically thinking what you spend your money on & planning ahead for come-what-may. Knowing you're ready for just about anything gives you such peace of mind.
Welcome to FV, go ahead & make yourself at home.

welcome... and i am new on here as well. But if you dont mind I would like to take a minute to make a quick point that has helped for my wife and I. We live on one income period whether my wife is working or not. Luckily I guess we have the priviledge of doing so but for others who are looking at this forum if you can get down to living on one income you in a way become prepared for the misfortune of someone losing a job.
Think about it. . . my grandparents did it, why cant I.

Welcome to the FV family. One way that I save money is I don't go shopping into Walmart (the only department store we have) I shop online with alice.com. Some people say it is cheaper for them and other say it is not. But for me it is and by shopping there it keeps the extra buying, gas, eating out, and my time under control. They have automatic coupon savings just like out of the Sunday paper so now you don't have to buy the paper for the coupons. So check it out to see if this would work for you.
