    Default So hot already

Is it just me or does it seem to be supper hot out all ready? Today here it is 32 degrees. (south eastren Ontario) We have all ready been swimming in the lake. I can't imagine that if it is this hot in May how hot is it going to be in July?

We turned on the air conditioner on the weekend, which I haven't done in years. But it is too loud around here on the May long weekend to sleep with the windows open, and it was too hot to sleep with them closed.

I think it's going to be a really bad summer for Southern Ontario; this hot already and no snow all winter. The soil will be too dry to grow anything, and the forest fire risk is going to be extreme.

Well I am in Michigan and I can tell you its hot as blazes here the last few days . We have had to have the AC on the last two nights for the kids. One has bad asthma and one has a heart condition so both NEED it to sleep. I am leaving it turned off until as late in the evening as I can stand it though , especially in the daytime when I am here alone. I can just sit on front of a fan with a book if I really cant take the heat anymore.

I'm in Michigan too...and it is very hot for this time of year. I think it's going to be a very hot, dry summer.

I always thought I could count on our northern neighbor to not be full of hot air. Guess I was wrong.

Starting to miss the snow already.

We've had 90º a few times in April already but it's always hot down here, which I prefer. I can't take the cold. We are going to NY for a wedding at the end of October and I KNOW I am going to freeze ~ it's still hot here in October

It IS hot here but my dad refuses to turn on the AC - for him. I live below ground in a well insulated basement and its cool down here all summer long w/o AC but when he eventually turns it on, I'm going to have to bust out my fleece pants and sweatshirt!

I am in Houston Texas and we are already FIRMLY entrenched in the low to mid 90's. The NORM for this time of year is the upper 80's.

We had a VERY hot summer last year. We set or broke the record for high temps. most of the summer. It is looking like we might be in for the same thing this year.

In Jersey right now it is 85 and we are going up over 90 today. Heard up to 95. Humidity here is awful. You walk around feeling like you showered in your clothes. Looks like Summer is going to be a bear.

Hehe it's funny you say that. When we first moved down here, a painter had to come in to patch a wall because the curtain rod fell out (long story.) He said something to the effect of, "Well it's not like you had to have A/C in Indiana." I had to stop myself from laughing because most summers back home we would have died without it. It gets hot and humid there, too! LOL. But I have to say I'm a little shocked that it is 90 in Canada right now, but then again...depending on where at, the lower portion of Michigan is even further north, and according to my uncle they've got 80 degree weather right now.

Supposed to get up to 90 degrees here. Already had the air conditioner on a couple of times even in April. I just can not sleep in hot weather and need the air on.
