Pie eating contest........
so our famiy went to a great big church picnic on Memorial Day. Inflatables, water slides, rock wall, old fashioned games, and yea, a pie eating contest.
Guess who won for the ladies division?
I cannot believe that I going to admit it, but I ate an ENTIRE lemon merienque pie (all the filling and about half of the crust) in under a minute~~~ UNDER A MINUTE!!!!!!!!
Actually, it was a ton of fun, and my kids thought it was real cool.....oh, and my prize???? A PIE!!! lol
(course the rest of the day all I ate was a small salad a cup of calmomile tea!)

Lol, & you hardly got messy! As a kid (in girl scouts) I won a jello eating contest, the prize was a big bar of hershey's chocolate. Gotta love those food prizes after you pig out, lol.
So what was the winning technique? I slurped (aka "hoovered") and turned it into a liquid and drank, lol.~*Darlene*~

I had to laugh.... my techinique? I was not afraid to put my whole face in the pie.....and take really REALLY big mouthfuls of pie. (Ok, that, and I eat really REALLY fast, way faster than I should, who knew that would come in handy)
The hardest part was getting it up my nose!! Then I couldn't breathe! but are you ready for this???? while I was slurping the pie down, I turned around and plugged one nostril and blew pie out of the other!!! ewwwwww!!!!
