    Default Awesome news!!!!!! It's back!

I had a bunch of jewelry stolen a while back. It was all sentimental but
I was absolutely heartbroken over my wedding rings. I talked to everyone who had been out here (lots of teens), parents etc. I had just decided it was all gone and to give up.

My wedding ring showed up on our back step yesterday! Just out of the blue when we got home! Yep I'm still missing 3 gold bracelets and the rings I got for my early anniversaries ( one from my kids also) but I HAVE MY ORIGINAL WEDDING RINGS BACK

I am so happy!!!!!!!!!!! It seems the thief~ thank heavens at least had an attack of conscience after all my many tears about that being irreplaceable and letting everyone know who had been in the house.

Oddly enough the ring looks all cleaned and polished too

I happy for you that you got your rings back. I know how heartbroken you were.

But how crazy is it that someone you know stole from you, someone that you invited into your home. Appauling!

Glad you got them back...but sad it was someone you know & that means they-she-he still has the rest. Do you have an idea who it could be?

Nope no clue who it was. I'm sure it was one of the many teens that have been at the house. All the phone calls to kids, parents, talks etc to very kid that came over obviously made someone realize how important it was. My kids said they also told every kid that had been here I cried a lot over the wedding ring being gone and wanted it back no ?'s asked. I wish the rest would have been sitting there too but I am so glad my wedding ring was returned. I hope the thief will learn the rest of their lesson but I doubt it. However I'm thinking which ever kid set in on the top step must have felt some guilt~ Just not enough.

I am so glad you got it back! I bet they wiped the fingerprints off though so no way of telling who took it. I would call the police and have them interview everyone. There is no excuse for stealing.

Leigh I did file a report. I do not think they talked to the kids. i don't know for sure though. I can't say they seemed real concerned. There were a lot of kids here over the time I noticed it gone. I honestly thought I could have trusted every single kid out here that visits.

I never thought of fingerprints being why it was so clean!!!!!!

I live in a little tiny berg of a township. Our township and the next few closest very little towns and townships have had a big rash of car break ins etc lately. I started locking all my important things up after this incident.

Congrats! I always lock everything. The economy is horrible which I think only adds more temptation to would be thieves.
