    Default SCORE!! Got a Dryer!

One of the first things I bought as an adult was a used Dryer from a good friend of mine about 10 years ago. It was a very old Sears Kenmore and was Alvacado green. The dryer meant a great deal to me. Not sure the fact that it was a dryer of course, but the fact that it was my first official step to being my own person.

Well that dryer died in March and I have been air drying my clothes. I am perfectly fine with that, but there are times when I would like them to be a little softer. I know from experiance that all I need to do is hang them outside on a breezy day, but I live in an apartment and thats just not possible.

Well today I was bored and decided to go to the Habitat for Humanity store (i love that store). What did I find a Kenmore Alvacado Green Dryer. Not exactly like my old one but close enough. The best part? Its was $25.00 and comes with a warrenty.

Was pretty sure my BF was buying me one for my birthday and I didn't want that at all. Now I am sure he won't.

Sorry, just had to share my happy.

    Great Find!!!!

That's the exact same dryer we had when I was a kid! We hung our clothes out most of the time, but for things like under clothing, or when it was raining we used the dryer.

It's always nice to find what you are looking for at a great price and you can't beat $25 for a dryer.

I had actually decided not to buy one and just make due until I had my own home. I was bored and just went over to look around (you can only spend so much money there) and it was love at first sight.
