Can you use rice in stuffed animals?
Thanks for checking - my daughter is making her first stuffed animal and wants to use rice for some weight. Can you use rice without getting bugs. I know someone on this site has expertise on this.
Thanks

I don't see why you couldn't. People make rice bags to be used in place of heat pads.

I would pass. We used kidney beans in bean bags when I was a kid but it was for a temp. game at a carnival. The rice will break down and crumble even it doesn't get buggy. What if it gets wet or needs to be washed.
