    Default Garden Pictures

I've been working on my perennial flower garden for a few years now, and it's finally starting to look good. I put some stepping stones in this season, and still want to add some spring bloomers for next year. Here are some pictures: Garden in Progress

Thanks! It truly is a work in progress. Wish the Black Eyed Susans I keep trying to plant every year would take, but I do think the bunnies have been nibbling on them...

And they're supposed to be so hardy! Maybe they are tasty, too...

Are you sure you want Black eyed susans? When I get home I'll upload a pic and you may change your mind.

Best one I got and this is about 1/3 of the entire amount. These started out as 3 plants in 4.5 inch pots.

That took about 5 years. We've ripped most of them out because they were getting out of hand.

I did try planting them the last three years, no luck. I'm thinking of other plants now. Maybe some allium or tall bearded irises.

This year I've noticed a flower that reminds me of a firecracker on the 4th of July ... people have told me it's allium (not sure if I spelled that right). Also the tall bearded iris. I'll have to look around for some bulbs. I do see alot of day lilies around, but I'm not sure if I want to add them yet. I'm sure they would take off!
