Default Glad to see June go ..... Welcome July!!!!

I'm glad to start a new month! I'm going to try and get June closed away tonight or tommorrow. Then I'll be doing the happy dance

June was hectic. Murphy came to visit AND I paid some stupid tax (which I'm still hoping to reclaim).
Nothing was catastrophic just very frustrating. A few years back some of these things would have been MAJOR issues. To sum it up and toast it out

~ The only thing that was HUGE in and of itself was my cat of 23+ years passing away. It was a very rough way to start out the month. 23 years is a long time to have a furbaby though and she went peacefully. I'm sure she's watching over us.

    ~ our fridge went out
We knew it was coming and the money wasn't the stess factor as it was planned for. The fridge was a lemon and Sears' 24 hour, 7 days a week service SUCKED!!!!! They use to be awesome and they were atrocious. Call today -----they'll see you next week. I may do a seperate thread on it as a forewarning. Didn't help that hubby's knee was not allowing him to lift. It's a good thing I have muscles Returned the lemon and bought a different fridge from a different place. (Neither fit in the door.

~ Strep throat was in the house

~ My car went out. A vaccuum seal came loose. Got the brakes done while we were figureing that out.

~ 2 days later the water pump blows after a piece of road rubber got caught under the belt. Hubby put a new one in.

~2 days later it over heats while going back to work for an important meeting. Mechanic/friend reams hubby for a bad seal.

~ kids to multiple different camps so they are not sitting on thier buts the weeks we had to work long hours

~ 2 HUGE projects at work where people turned in the paperwork late but I still had a state imposed deadline

~ I LOST/MISPLACED/PUT UP SOMEWHERE SAFE both the checkbook and the savings book. The emergency credit cards we have are kept in the savings book as is the cash getting ready to be deposited in that account. ****STUPID TAX**** the $200. Huge hassle. First we froze them because I'm pretty sure I didn't take the accounts out of the house. After an entire weekend of turning the house upside down though I wasn't so sure anymore and we needed to pay bills. New accounts. Cancel the cards. Some day I may reclaim the stupid tax if I find the accounts.

~ kids leave the car windows open and it storms that night. BAD SMELLY car for over a week

~ Hubby had a tantrum and does not believe he needs to apoligize. This is stressful to me because he NEVER feels the need to apoligize to me. Most times I can blow it off. This one is wedged in my brain though.

~ Work throws a new insurance plan at us. Lots of changes. Three days to decide!

    ~ The washer dies.

Anyhow a toast to leaving June behind

I am glad it is over for you. May july be better. I got strp for the first time in late may. I am pregnant so it is was a big deal. Then a week ago I got bronchitis and had to be treated in the ER because of my asthma and baby on the lungs An inhaler was useless. That was scary too. If i cant breath fine but baby needs oxygen. I swear the weather as of late is making illness worse than ever berfore and later in to the year.

Wow. What an awful month for you. I am so sorry about your fur baby. I just saved a cat from a certain needless death in June. Now I have a new fur baby.

Oh my, TRN, what a forgettable month you've had!

I'm so sorry about your furbaby ~ it's so hard when they move on to the Rainbow Bridge!

I feel your pain about the fridge not fitting through the door ~ we had to take EVERYTHING off ours to get it in. NOT FUN!

    Here's to a GREAT July
