Default Thank You All for Your Prayers! Ds#1 Got Another Job

Just a few days ago I was talking about how after a year of unemployment, Ds#1 was told that he had a job.....then the stinkin' company turned around & said they weren't hiring anymore people - Ds included.
Anyway....today Ds gets a phone call from a ritzy restaurant...he goes immediately for an interview & BAM! They hired him on the spot! They're going to pay him more than the other place and Ds will also be in a position to learn how to cook the more extravagant dishes. He has been wanting to go to a cooking school as he has a natural flare for cooking....everything is working out like a dream & I just wanted to thank everyone here who prayed for him....God is sooooooo awesome!

Default oohhhh..... this makes my day...

I have been following your post and could almost feel the frustration for your son....and yeah... i am so glad he got offered another position...and at something he likes to do...sometimes one door closes and another opens and you are right... God does know best it just sometimes is hard to accept what he plans for our life...I use to pray for God to give me certain things that i felt i needed but now i pray for him to give me strength to deal with whatever is thrown at me....and he never gives me more than i can handle...

Good news for your son. God does work in mysterious ways. He knew that other job was not for him, He had bigger and better things for him. God is awesome and I thank him everyday for being in my life, because without him I would be lost.

    Good for him!!!

It just goes to show that when one door closes another one opens! Now, if I could just remember that in times of crisis.
