Default self defense without a gun

Cheaper then a gun, safer then a gun and easy to get your hands on.

    Wasp Spray

Did you know that wasp spray can shoot farther then mace and is more accurate? Wasp spray can reach up to 20ft keeping your attacker at a safe distance.
Wasp spray will blind the attacker until they can get to a hospital for an antidote. Just thought I'd pass it along.

I've never heard of Wasp Spray. What is it and where do you get it?

It'a a type of Raid, used for spraying wasp and hornet nests. It shoots from a distance so that you can spray the nest without getting stung.

You should be able to buy it anywhere that sells pest control products.

I guess the only thing that worries me about that idea is whether or not I'd be sued for attempting to inflict serious long-term health consequences on the attacker. I know that sounds crazy, but criminals seem to have as much if not more rights than their victims sometimes.

For myself, if it came down to my life, or a loved one's life that was being threatened,I wouldn't have time to think twice if the attacker could sue me...I really wouldn't care - I'd rather be judged by 12 ,not carried by 6. Life is way too precious. But yes, you are definitely right about attackers suing their victims....its crazy and so are the judges that rule in their favor.Ggrr. Ann, thanks so much for posting this...I had read an article about a month ago about it - how it actually saved a woman's life. The beauty of the wasp spray is that it can shoot from several feet away. W/ the pepper spray, it doesn't shoot as far.

I imagine it would! And you could clean the oven and the floors at the same time.

Wasp spray is toxic poison. What if you shot yourself. I'd rather taser someone. that's just crazy.

That has been going around in an email........think I have gotten it at least three times.

I don't think it is such a bad idea. The one drawback that I saw was that you have to shake it to get the best distance. (I use a LOT of it in the summer..........they love my house...and I am not too crazy about them!!)
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Wow I didn't know about the wasp spray.. I think I'm gonna put some of that in my bedroom ... I am always hearing strange noises and even though we live in the countryside there have been some homes broken into lately.

    Thanks for that tip :-)

I was told that years ago (1980's) when I was in college traveling around by myself. I always had a can within reach of my drivers seat. Fake wedding set on my left and wasp spray in reach of my right.
