Sounds too hot to move!! not so hot here, thank goodness.....will be spending part of my day in the pool myself!!
If I were you I would make sure I had a good supply of ice, make a big pitcher of lemonade or iced tea and relax with a good book, movie or anything else that didn't require too much energy.
Good luck!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Living in south Texas, the temps have been over and around the 95 degree mark for weeks. (And that's with 70% humidity!) We are lucky this year--last summer we had 60 days in a row over the 100 degree mark. Not knowing where you live, I think the main difference for us is A.) We're somewhat used to it, B.) most people have AC in their homes and in their cars (even though it's a bummer to have to start using it most of the time in March) and C.) we have perfected the art of entertaining ourselves as cooly as possible.

That's pretty much July and August weather here, except we don't have the high humidity thank god. Temps mostly in the mid-high 90's with heat waves into the low 100's. A couple summers ago we had two weeks straight of 107-108 degree temps - that was crazy. We just learned to live with it, you do your chores and errands either after sunset or (even better) early in the morning and stay indoors with the A/C on when it gets that hot and eat cold, light meals.
“When you get to the end of all the light you know

or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller
“Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
there are signs that the world is speedily
coming to an end;
bribery and corruption are common; children no
longer obey their parents;

end of the world is evidently approaching.”

100 degree heat doesn't bother me as much as the 60-80% humidity we have around here.

It will be 96-97 here today with high humidity. And I have to work. In a small confined building that is painted dark brown. With no air conditioning. From 1-9pm. I have to clean bath houses too after people have showered which makes it that much hotter. And we are packed and very very busy!
I thought we had the boss talked into going and getting us a small window ac unit yesterday. He told us he was going to get it after he had us call and find one. Then he didn't. He told the volunteer who works with me that he isn't going to get us one because one of the guys who works there won't do his job and stays in our office all the time. If he gets us an ac unit he will never leave. So he's punishing ME because this guy refuses to work. He's punishing ME because he's too much of a chicken s**t to be the BOSS and tell the guy to get out and do something or go home. Such a lovely place to work.
I am combating the heat by using the ac at home and telling the kids to just stay inside. They have tv, Playstation, books, Legos, etc. I am wearing tank tops and shorts to work, running the fans, drinking LOTS of cold drinks and doing as little as I can get by with. I thought seriously about calling in sick today but I guess I will go. However I plan to park my truck behind my office and when I get overheated I will lock up the office(and no one will be buying anything in the store...take that BOSS!) and go sit in the ac in the truck for a while.

I'm NOT a fan of iced drinks when it's hot (any other time for that matter). Believe it or not you can get dehydrated drinking iced drinks, especially if you are working and sweating a lot. Your throat, esophagus, and stomach gets chilled and tells your brain you had enough for now when the rest of your body says "I'll take another glass".
I have computer set up near the AC. When I have enough playing with the computer, I go down in the basement and play with my rocks...think what you will, it's cool and fun.BEF fully funded

It's hot here as well. We stay inside and do as little as possible outside. We have dogs and they are staying inside as well.

With the heat index we are sitting at about 90. Not as high as some of you but living in Minnesota we don't have any air-conditioning!

I just heard the same thing on the radio - high 90s, heat index up to 110. I ran one errand and was back by 10:30. The rest of the day is definitely going be inside. I have some straightening up to do, and the rest of the day I'm sitting in a chair in front of a fan - AC too, of course -- and crocheting.
I don't mind it cold in the winter, but in the summer, I just fork it over to the electric company and stay cool. I don't do heat well at all. Fortunately my apartment isn't too costly to heat/cool. My equalized payments are still at $47. Worth every penny June-October.Donna

It's 90 right now. Will get to 100 with index 105 to 108 normal for Illinois.But its only July. August is always the hottest.. I have no plans on leaving the house in the next few days.

It's 90 degrees this morning in the Pacific Northwest. It's bearable because we have very low humidity. I love summer because our winters are long, dark, and cold!
