Come cry with me!!!!
Our beautiful new (to us) 2010 G6 was scratched up in the parking lot at work!!!! I parked as far away as possible. It looks like someone took a key and put 4 long scraches down the side.
GRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! CRY!!!!!!!! It took so darn long to save to pay for our lovely new car and some inconsiderate idiot scratched it up after a week of buying it!!!! What are the odds? I'll be stopping by the body shop Thursday to see what the "cash" price is.~July 19 saving goal for event $104/$1000

Did you file a police report?
Have you looked into making a comprehensive claim?
Does the parking lot happen to have your car on video during that time?

Happened to us right after DH's car got repainted - so aggravating - and you cannot help but feel it was on purpose. Let us know what the body shop says. So sorry - after all your hard work too in saving for your car!!

Nope Mek no video where I work. I never even thought about a police report to be honest. In WI anything in a parking lot is 50/50 no matter who is at fault. Our deductable is $500 and I'm betting that our local small body shop will be able to do "cash" for quite a bit less than that. I'm hoping it is a little touch up and lots of buffing needed.

Aw Maui that is so sad right after a paint job! I'll update once Mr K looks at it.

Its heartbreaking to try to have something nice, then someone comes along & messes it up! I'm always concerned when I drive our "newest" vehicle (almost 11yo) that something will happen to it. About a month ago I had someone pass me & their car throw a rock & nicked the paint. Boy, was I mad! If it had been me in the parking lot, I'd have let it fly too! No shame it venting IMO!

Sorry to hear this. It seems like there is always one Ahole out there just waiting to ruin someone else's joy. We didn't even have our Cavalier 12 hours, brand new, and someone at WM shoved a cart into the rear corner and put a nice deep ding in it. Hiope you can get it fixed cheap.

Nana I'm sure it is no one I know. I work in a plaza with a big store attached to a strip mall. There is also a gas station and laundry. I parked way away from all the stores. As far as I can get right away from the other cars~ right across from the bus stop. If I had to guess I'd say it was some punks waiting for the bus.
