    Default my afternoon... <facepalm>

I had to send the following to my client today:

    Email title: I'm a Loser!

No, really this is a face palm story!

I’m almost finished cleaning your home… it starts raining so I run outside with my purse to shut my car windows. I go back to the garage/kitchen door and find it locked!

<insert laughter and face palm here>

So if I were a spare key I “where would I be?”

    /me looks around garage…. Rofl… NOWHERE obvious!

!!!!! Kris !!!! Connie!!!! Woohoo! I know they have a key!

<expletive of choice here> no one is home 

    Neighbor Debbie? Probably not.
    Stephanie? Probably not.
Next door neighbors? Maybe, but no cars around.

So I sit on the porch, check under the mat, the flower pots and debate running around back on the off chance I left the sliding door open though I know I didn’t.

    Please find:

on your café table, my carry bucket with my shoes and keys! Yeah, they were left inside…
your vacuum in the living room…
the sponge mop across the counter with a bucket that contains some mop and glow….
And every throw rug in the bathrooms are off the floor….

I have the vacuuming to do on the lower 2 levels and the hard floors to mop.

I can return tonight when you get home or tomorrow morning.

I hope you enjoyed yet another escapade of “Adventures with Ceashels”

Some days just don't work for me. I had left my cell phone home (else it would be locked in their home too).

Yeah it is. I hope they see the humor in it too. And I hope they reply soon for me. I hate doing things like that.

Definitely a bad day. When a day starts like that it seems to just get continually worse.

I looked for the fake rock. lol
I even looked under the wooden shelves in the garage to see if they taped it somewhere, looked under the garage mat, above the door jam, under the door threshold.... everywhere that wasn't "invasive." lol

No, you may not buy new shoes!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

What? After she's been out barefoot in the rain and muck?

    I don't THINK so!

So the homeowners called me at 430. They were not going to be home long before going out again but I was welcome to finish then or return tomorrow. I decided to go back and finish.

Him: I thought you had a key.
Me: I do. (and pointed toward the house)
Him: Oh! (the light came on for him)

So I finished and returned home. Made myself some chicken salad for dinner.... and thank goodness I made the dressing in a separate container as I accidentally poured 1/2 cup of Italian dressing instead of 2 Tablespoons as I had wanted. Oops!

I gave up talking for a little while because my brain and mouth just would not synchronize well enough for me to get my sentence out.

I am so glad today is finally over, having soup for brains is not enjoyable.

I've always said it's important to be able to laugh at yourself - that way we don't feel left out when everyone else is doing it I'm glad it all ended ok.
