    Default Just curious!

What is the one "just gotta have item" that you get every month for yourself???

    Not needed, just want..

For me, it's my Paula Dean candles.. I pay $8 for a jar and usually buy 2 every month and no I don't really need it, but I love them and save/reuse the jars. I use cheaper candles elsewhere in the house, but gotta have my PD candles at my desk/table..

$8 to $16 might not be a big deal for most, it is a lot for me, I get some guilty feelings, but it goes away.

I would consider our coffee as our "just want" necessity. hehehe. We could make due with the store brand beans or Millhouse but splurge on our local roaster. Since we drink it every day... I find it worth it as I do notice when I use a coupon for Millhouse and the coffee just doesn't taste as flavorful. It doesn't stop me from using a coupon but I get a flavor that I can mix in with other beans. lol

Mine would be coffee also but just plain old Dunkin Donuts coffee....I stop now maybe 3 times a month when I'm out and get a medium. It's my splurge and I'm pretty content with that.

~Coffee and ice cream are our biggest, every month splurge.
I also use only Bath & Body Works lotion. The scents really make me feel great.
Oh, thought of one more, Dunkin' Donuts. Once a month we get a dozen on a Sunday morning. Big treat around here but it's every month. ~

I have to buy something at the S.A. every T/TH after dropping DD off at college. No one thing in particular. Not every time do I buy something but darn close. Doesn't even have to be for me.

For DH-a book, must ALWAYS be reading one. To the point he plans his next one while he reads the first one.

For me its book's, I probably average buying 2 or 3 a month. Usually they are cook books or something to do with cooking or food. I also really like the Foxfire books (have most of them) and anything by Stephen King.

I guess mine would be Mt. Dew. Just love the stuff and drink it daily. I try to stock up when it's on sale so it's not exactly a month thing but it's the one thing I don't do without right now. Other than that I can't really think of anything.

Its coffee here to. My dh and I LOVE the Michigan Cherry coffee beans we get at Meijer grocery store here. About once a month it goes on sale for 5.00 a pound. I buy enough to get us through the month, about 3 pounds. Ita a big splurge at the time but this way I get enough for at least that month and dont need it to buy it until it goes on sale again. Buying it this way is really the equivilant of buy one get one free if I went by reguar price.

colonial or yankee candles (rose or red apple)
walmart cranberry mandarin candles or red apple
lavender essential oil (used for mop water and homemade cleaning spray)
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.
