Default Kindness that my husband shows

My husband is so sweet. My husband decided today since our town lost a wonderful officer that was so loving and kind to all. To give and dedicate a GRANDFATHER CLOCK with a plaque in his honor. To city hall.. Im still shook up about the whole thing.. and the poor young mom that hit him had a 1 mo and 18 mo in the can when she hit him.

That was really sweet and a very sad story. Too young to die.

So was the driver and her kids okay? Not sober or some freak thing? I assume she will be facing involuntary manslaughter chargers?

That's a nice thing to do and one that will be appreciated by the family in the future (when the very raw grief they are suffering has subsided a little.)

    God bless all those concerned.

What a terrible accident! I feel so sad for everyone involved. But what a thoughtful gesture on your husband's part. I know it was so well intended because you've mentioned quite a few times how much your dh loves his clocks. No doubt it was a sacrifice he felt well worth making. I know you're very proud of him right now, and rightfully so. But I'm sure the whole town will be feeling the same way.

Take it easy nana! You're in our thoughts.

In the reports it said she pulled out in the inersection and didn't see office bauer coming. He was on duty dressed ready to go get some awards and he was in a nice rental car. His police car was in the shop. The driver and the kids in the other car are all ok.. She is young i think only 30, what a emotional tragedy for her to deal with.

What a sad story, but what a beautiful thing for your husband to do. He sounds like such a great guy.
