Guess I should introduce myself :)
Hi everyone - my name's Kari and I love a good bargain.
My husband and I have a reputation at his place of employment for being the tightwads, but that's okay, because you know what...we have the money to do what we want because we save and shop smart in other aspects of our lives.
I am a couponer and a thrift store addict. I think I know where all of the thrift stores are in the surrounding towns and love finding new ones that surprise me. I love having my "savings" be 60% or more of what I spent at the grocery store. Getting a $5 refund at customer service because the register didn't double ALL of my coupons. Fighting to save that $1 because it all adds up!
We don't have any kids and don't plan to have any. I am unemployed right now so I guess I am a stay at home doggie mommy.
