Just take a stab at it. I know some buy HBA's at the same time as groceries.

I voted. It's a bit skewed right now because of MooCow. We include formula, diapies, etc. in our grocery budget.

I don't include HBA items, because i buy them every 6 months. I make my own detergent and cleaning products, We don't use paper towels, such a waste if money,TP we stock up on.So said $0-50 per person a months.

I budget $120/week (family of 5) This includes all groceries, HBA and eating out (if we go out to coffee)
I coupon, use CVS, shop sales and stockpile. It's hard to do, but can be done

Our budget is a little screwed up right now as well. Given that we're moving in a couple of months, and FIL has been with us (which drives my budget through the roof), we usually spend $250 every two weeks. I'm trying to get this back to $200/wk. I include HBA, nutritional supplements and lunches.

We budget $150 wk for our family of 5, it includes all food, hba, over the counter meds, pet food and eating out if we eat out. DH travels quite a bit & when he travels he gets a per diem so when he's gone I guess techinically I am only feeding 4 on that budget.

I had to admit I don't keep track.
I shop sales only so it will vary according to what I need. It is rare that I spend over $50 in a week but sometimes in the fall, if I am baking, I do. Or if I HAVE to buy meat......
I try to stay ahead of that item.

We spend about $300 a month on groceries for the two of us - if we are very careful. DH has done a really good job of curtailing his tendancy to eat out for lunch which really helps!!

We just recently moved and are currently staying with my brother there is 5 of us we all decided to pool our money and shop together so we have 75.00 a week to spend on groceries any left over we put in towards the next's weeks bill.I had a huge HBA/TP/Cleaning/ food stock pile that we bought with us so we will not need any of that for along time so we are able to put the money into groceries. We do a lot of cooking at home and I use a lot of coupons and I do receive a 10% + discount at work on all my purchase's so with coupons I am able to get cheap groceries.

$360 a month just me but that includes pet, hba, household supplies, pharmacy, and anything to be had at walmart.
11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
credit card debt 7500
mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
then live on the rest!
i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.
