Just for fun :-)
I need a frugal intervention because I am cutting out coupons with the safety scissors my daughter used in kindergarten ... and she left for college this week-end ;-)

When your kids preschool borrows napkins on a field trip from your collection saved from fast food trips and you want them replaced.
When you have catagorized sandwich bags of sauces saved from fast food trips. And you give tours to anyone who'll look.
(ooh, and I got a whole bunch of these zesty mayos...)
You go thru the drive thru and ask for extra sauces even though your getting salad and a coke.

These are awesome!
If you buy papertowels for guests only and wouldn't consider using one yourself.
FYI, I have went through 2 rolls since Nov 07.

Grab a bunch of plastic silverware, napkins, sauces, and straws from fastfood restaurants and use them all the time

Edit:
Oh thought of another one, still using trays from my college as sleds for my son and daughter

No matter where I'm at or what we're buying I grab a TON a napkins. Even sit down restaurants, if they give us extra napkins and we dont use them, they go into my purse.

We used to go to playland. My Gfriend w/ 4 kids would buy 1 sm. drink and make the kids share w/ 4 refills. She would bring snacks and buy 2 happy meals and 2 burgers. She would bring water for herself. We would stay like 2hrs.!!

When you stocked up so much on personal hygene products and laundry detergent that you don't need to buy any for atleast another two years.
And proudly display the stockpile to gasping friends. lol

When you save sugar packets from fast food restaurants and open them carefully one by one and dump them into your sugar bowl at home...same with salt and pepper packets.
When the kids say they're out of shampoo in their bathroom and you tell them "no, we have plenty" and hand them a bottle or two from your dozens of hotel bottles.

You walk up to random strangers and explain how super couponing works only to realize they have a glazed look on their face. Which puzzles you cuz' coupons are facinating.

We go to the family reunion this summer. One of the dishes I like to take to pass, is coffee. I started this because I was taking a thermos for hubby and also a cafe the following year. This year I took my coffee pot and kept refilling the cafe. Not sure how many pots I made. Maybe 6. After we got home, I was putting things away and had a light bulb moment. I had been making the coffee like I did at home. Two scoops the first pot, and then add one scoop to the existing grounds and just kept going for the rest of the day. No body said anything to me except for the compliments what good coffee it was. And or maybe they know how frugal I am and figured it was wisest not to say anything. I never gave my method a second thought...it was just routine as always to me. Maybe I will try it again next summer, and see if I get away with it again....guess I will call it my secret recipe

You definitely need a frugal intervention if you're like my friend Ben who goes "dumpster diving" at Trader Joes after hours!
