Default What are your top 3 favorite movies of all time?

Pouring down the rain and watching my favorite movies on DVD on a lazy Saturday.

Wondering, what are your 3 favorite movies of all time? New or old. Any particular reason these are favorites?

    Steel Magnolias

    Doc Hollywood

    For Richer or Poorer

I've been watching these 3 for years and years...more than I want to tell. A couple years ago it dawned on me what these 3 all had in common...set in a simple lifestyle, easy going, old houses, everyone in town knew each other. Kind of like the middle part of my life, with this being the 3rd.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

    1) Grease
    2) Grease 2
Then there is a tie between Jerry Macguire, Sweet Home Alabama (being an Alabamian so many things in this movie are funnier to me than to someone not from here), and Wizard of Oz.

    remains of the day
    gosford park
    pride and prejudice (colin firth)
    sense and sensibility (emma thompson)
    1776
    the patriot
    the nun's story
    the queen
    bertie and elizabeth
    it's a wonderful life

can't narrow it down to 3.
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

I'm sure if you asked me this same question 2 months from now, I will have forgotten how I answered it today. I can't pick 3! LOL

    Animal House
    The 5th Element
Any movie Johnny Depp is in.....namely Pirates of the Carribean. My highschool quote was, "but why is the rum gone?!" I'm sure I may regret that somewhere down the line, but as of now...still funny

Yeah, Shawshank is at the top of my list too. I've probably watched it at least 25 times.
