damn, I'm starting to get an internet speed inferiority complex.

    Maybe I should seek therapy.

Next time, my phone company calls and asks how am I liking the DSL line....boy will they be sorry. It gets a F.
This is my fastest computer I own. And I thought it was fast enough to make me happy. Faster than the old dial up.

Well, I pay for 3 so I guess I am getting what I pay for. It is adequate for my needs.
I do have to admit I am envious of some of you frugal villagers!

DH's work pays for most of our internet because they like him to be able to get into their computers and fix things when he is at home.

So I did the test three times in a row. Different numbers. Also todays numbers are twice as fast as the numbers I had in August.

What exactly is this stating. Just for the specific date and time that you perform the test? Just wondering with the variance in numbers.

This is why I don't put a lot of stock into the speed test numbers, they aren't sustained. Ever wonder why some ISPs advertise that you'll get some great download speed for the first minute, and then it drops down? Here's one of the reasons, beating the speed tests. Granted, a lot of people may just be downloading an mp3, or a single photo, and it does help increase the buffer for youtube videos. However, it doesn't help when it comes to streaming something like Netflix.
