How did you celebrate turning 30?
Hello to all of you,
I turned 30 this month as I am sure most of you were unaware, and I simply enjoyed being in my 20's even though I have learned alot(if I only knew back then what I know now I would probably have more in savings). As a friend put it being 30 is the new 20 but, with having money lol I actually have to agree somewhat.
My DH already had some, ideas for my birthday until I told him what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted to go Skydiving on the last day of being 29, and to celebrate bringing on my 30s. You know what I know it was expensive but, it was also on my bucket list for quite a while. To be honest I am more than willing to do it all over again next summer. Of course some of my family members didn't agree like my Mom but I think it's because it's something she would never do.
On my birthday we had a BBQ at my in laws with my immediate family, and some friends. I would have to say this was probably the best birthday that I will always remember.
Cheers,

I don't remember my 30th..really... on my 40th my friends rented a limo and we all went out...on my 50th I was in Maui....went zip-lining. As the years roll on...I find that I am happy to be at the age that I am..I don't look back wistfully and wish things had been different..I live life.... it sounds like you are doing the same thing..good for you
My 27 yr old daughter recently broke up with her BF and went skydiving...she said it was the experience of a lifetime! It was a tandem jump and the guy she jumped with was famous...apparently he jumped for the movie Transformers.

Over half my lifetime ago, but I do remember my 30th - a friend had a party for me at her home and that night - there was a tremendous storm (January) that made driving treacherous - but some friends still made it! - My birthday kept getting celebrated during the next week as the weather got better!! Fond memories!!

don't remember to many years have gone by.

people or things.

I'm pretty sure I was around 30 when I went and got married. Maybe you could go get yourself an extra husband? Just think how much better off you'd all be with an extra income in the household!

That was a very long time ago. I think we went to a pizza restaurant - Shakey's, maybe. That was our "usual" place.
30 didn't seem as momentous as 35 did, though. That was when I thought that half my useful life was over, and I hadn't done anything with it yet!

Happy belated birthday!!! It was 10 years ago and I can't really remember what I did. My birthday, dh and both kids are all within 2 weeks so dh and I usually are very low key and the kids get a big sheebang.

Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I was kind of freaking out about my 30th birthday. My parents took me to Las Vegas and my cousin met us there. I had never been before. I had a fantastic time!

I went to Disney World! My goal was to graduate before I turned 30 - I went back to college after my youngest & I graduated a couple days before my 30th. To celebrate reaching my goal, graduation & my birthday we went to Disney. It was our first real family vacation and a wealth of happy memories for all of us.
