What do you feel is your best quality?
What do you feel is your best quality?
I would probably say persistence. I don't give up easily. I keep at something until it's either done or can't be finished. I dig and dig untill I've learned all I can learn about something I'm interested in.Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I have a lot of compassion and enjoy finding creative ways to help people or help them learn to help themselves. People also say i am never crabby. Well that isn't true just look at me vent in my blog. However I believe in typing it out and letting it go. Why bring others down by being crabby. A cheery attitude makes everyones day better !

I'd say empathy. I have the ability to put myself in someone else's shoes. When I see someone troubled, homeless, struggling, I know there's a back story, nothing is ever as it seems on the surface. The world is full of broken people, and my heart aches for them.

That I can look past all of the fluff and see who a person really is. And that if I believe in someone I will walk through fire for them.

I would like to say my humor, I really like to make people laugh and smile.
Mostly it is self-deprecating, but I certainly can laugh at myself! XD

I'm not sure if it would be that I am loyal and dependable, once I committ, I am committed or that if I like you enough to form some sort of relationship with you I am very accepting of values/behaviors/goals that are different (sometimes WAY different) than mine. The problem generally comes in when I expect the same from others on that front.

~My name means "constant, firm of purpose" and I think that's my best quality. I also commit fully and forever when I commit. I'm very steady in my life choices, goals and habits. I know that even the small things in my life have a purpose and are part of a larger purpose. I'm willing to do things that are very tedious and boring and I usually enjoy those things because I know they fulfill my purpose.~

I used to think my best quality was - I'm easy going. What happens, happens.
But, considering my anger thread, I'm not sure now.
OTOH, I haven't got angry lately.Russ

Well, if I have any good qualities, I can tell you for sure that they came from my mother and father. From my mom, I truly learned empathy. I don't think you could've paid her to get mad at ANYBODY! She would always find a ~maybe they had a bad day~ kind of reasoning to excuse other people's bad behavior. The other notable thing I learned from her is to be glad for what I have. And no matter how little that might be, to make the best of it. Believe me! She especially lived that last one. We lived in the same small, 4 room apt. that she had since she got married. My father refused to move out of Brookyn, and buy a house out in Jersey, which his own mother offered to help him buy. But somehow she was able to grin and bear it all. She knew how to make little changes without alot of money. She worked wonders with contact paper and Rit dye...lol! I never knew different, and I thought we were pretty well off....lol! Now THAT"S talent for ya!
And from my dad....the man who would not buy a house or a car....well instead, he used whatever cash he could put together, and always found a way to have a good time. He never sold out on himself. He died after living his life his way. So yeah, I do know how to have a good time.
Thanks Mom and Dad!

and my other bad trait showed ..... I talked WAY too much again!! Ha!

In the past I would have said my creativity, but that's gone with the wind since I've been on medication. So I'm going with my generosity. I tend to give of time, self and whatever I can if I can. DH holds me back a lot...which is probably good or we'd have an empty house! I have been gifted a lot in my life and I view myself as a redistributor of wealth.
Sure, there are some things I wouldn't give or do for people. But if I'm baking something and you like the smell...it's yours. If I have a tool you need to borrow, and DH doesn't mind, it's yours. If the church needs a new computer or projector, count me in. If you need a ride and I can do it, I will.
In late years I've been told to back off on my generosity and set some boundaries. I was doing myself in physically and emotionally helping other people. So now I try to be a bit more careful of who and how I help. Still...I get this urge...
Another best trait would be the fact that I appear to be able teach people just about anything. Not sure how or why. Must be in my genes. I'm not trained as a teacher, though I homeschooled my girls. It just comes naturally. I can see in hindsight it was one of my problems with the public school system. I knew intuitively that they were going about education 'all wrong', and embarked on doing it 'more efficiently' myself.2012 Challenges

When I try new things and am enthusiastic about what I am doing others seem to be drawn in. So I feel I sometimes inspire others to try improvements w/in themselves.
