    Default Free phone calls to US and Canada with gmail.

    I just got this enabled. Called my sister in Quebec. Free!
    You need a gmail account to have this.

    Do you need to be calling FROM the US or can the calls be Canadian based?

    I tried this on the mobile and I'm having issues. Have you discovered any problems with it mobile wise, Gabe?

    I don't really use my mobile for calling anyone beside the boss lady.

    Have not tried it yet. Do you have a google voice account?

    I think it would work best with the voice account. Ex: call your voice account and dial another number from it. (Free conference call with a google voice account)

    I tried the method to get around it and got into something earlier. I had to stop for now. I did download Firefox and I'll give it another shot in the morning. I got the Modify Addon thing settled. It's just a matter of blocking the TCP addresses it needs to block.

    I got it to work on my computer, but it won't work on my cell phone just yet. I called my mom today on the computer and the clarity is fantastic!

    So I spent the time after we got the range hood up and the primer on, went through and remade the account. I finally got it set up and now Google Voice works with that link you gave me, Gabe. That HotSpot program is awesome! Now I have a US number being in Canada. I'm going to test it out tomorrow and see how well it works. I'm still helping my friend get his set up.
