Default My kid on ESPN this Saturday

Well...along with the rest of his high school band, the football team, the cheerleaders, etc. ESPN has a show called ESPN Rise which spotlights different high school football games around the country and my son's school will be one of the teams televised this coming Saturday. He's excited because he plays in the band and will be marching during half-time. I don't have the heart to tell him that the focus wil be on the football and they may show the bands for all about 5 seconds. It's exciting anyway and a much anticipated matchup. So, in the spirit of the season...GO Texas Football! Go MAVERICKS!...Go Mighty Maverick Band!

Nana, I'm sorry didn't see your post in time, but it came on earlier about 6:00pm central time. On the bright side, our team won, the band sounded great and it was a fantastic game.
