Wanted - a home for Murphy
Please someone come get this Murphy guy....I am so sick and tired of him already. He needs to leave and soon.
Let's see, it was 2 weeks ago tomorrow, that
I had the front brakes done on the truck. $ 260 total.
Hubby kept telling me there was nothing wrong, but I knew better.
Then had this computer fixed...about $ 48...and then within 2 weeks, the hard drive crashed....and another $ 96 yesterday.
I was without my speedy computer for 6 days.
Then today, hubby spots the gas tank strap dangling on the truck I drive
The second strap is very rusted. I call to find the part and have it here now, $ 36 and hopefuly the mechanic will be here soon. Hopefully he won't charge too much for the labor. I never asked how much, just if he was available this weekend.
I think there was something else, but I have forgottened what. Maybe a good thing............
Anyways......it's time for the Murphy to move on....I have entertained him long enough.

I don't want him! I think his twin has been staying with us. In the last 10 months, we've had problems with the furnace & air conditioner. Have had to replace the dishwasher, washer & dryer. In the last 2 1/2 weeks, the Cherokee had to have the motor replaced for one of the power windows & our 13yr old dog has cost us close to $600 in vet bills thanks to a broken blood vessel in one of his ears.

Looks like this fella's going to be homeless.....with all of the trouble he's causing everyone, he doesn't even deserve a cardboard box.

We must have his clone. We have spent almost $ 800 on misc. Like new tires, helped my daughter when the girl next door stole her money, part for the car.I know there were other things,so ready for him to leave.

You'll have a hard time finding any takers I'm about sure.
-Today- $391.00 to fix the car. Paid it off last week so yeah.
-Sept. 1st.-$329. to fix 2 teeth on the 12 year old cat (seriously)
-The 3 outside cats all got into yellow jackets but we fixed it ourselves w/ benedryl and a CC for the stingers
-Shopping to finally replace that dishwasher soon. Only takes 2x for every load-very economical
-Oak toilet seat cracked- need to locate a new one?
-Should think about my 1972 HW heater to get the credit for E-star. on taxes
-Just paid $13,000 to pay off CC but we can't get a lower rate. So we change cards.
Round and round we go.

Sounds like the Murphy guy comes from a big family
Well the mechanic charged me $ 20, was here about 30 minutes. Then I went and hit a few close by garage sales and found a few bargains. So not a bad day at all
Our luck here seems to run in batches of 3 smiliar items. If a vehicle repair, then there will be 2 more. I had my 3 though. Awhile back had to get a tire looked at because of a screw in the thread but I got lucky there as it was a real short one. No damage and no charge.
We have a small EF in the checking account, so any money we spent because of Murphy was covered. So that helps keeps the stress part down.

I'm so sorry after Murphy about drained our FFEF that he jumped on over to visit my fellow villagers. There must be a truly bad person out there that we can send Murphy too so he heaves us Villagers alone!

well i didnt make my sign fast enough

some jerk in haddonfield ( rich town near us ) took off the 22 yos side mirror same--while she was at work - same side that got swiped a few months ago -this looks like some one a bike ran into- it not enough damage for a car...
she has no money she just paid cash for her college semester and books - dh just took it to a local place to see if they can snap it back on but i can tell a peice is broke and they are going to say she needs a whole new mirror - and he is not the figure a easier cheaper way to do it person
and college starts next week and she has to do highway driving to get there UGH !!*~Debbi~*

Unfortunately his cousin seems to be hanging around here. Mostly doing tiny annoying things. Maybe we can get them to go someplace deserted for a family reuinion.

Murphy has been visiting my house too
I left my job about a month ago and since I have left I have done nothing but write checks
Since I have left we had to fix the rack & pinion on our Envoy, found out our roof is leaking when a bubble of water started forming in 2 places on the wall of our dining room between the drywall & the paint & a big line on the ceiling, found out that my daughters cheerleading was going to cost us $170 more than I thought (nobody told us pay for play applies to the middle school too & that the shoes and a sweatshirt were not included in the $ I had already paid), had a good friend pass away so had to take an unplanned trip to NH - oh & my Dh phone died and he is not a "what is needed to get by" type of guy so he replaced it with something ridiculous. I just hope he (Murphy not DH) goes away soon or else my DH will make me go back to work, lol. Hope he leaves the rest of you guys alone too!!
Momto5RN have you tried a salvage yard for your mirror? Most cities, even smaller ones, have at least 1 in them - some of them if they don't have the part can order it for you. I use to have to call around for parts at my old job & used mirrors can be really cheap, even the electric ones.

Lady, and everyone else, I thought he was still in the spare bedroom at our house. Apparently he cloned himself. He still hasn't left us...Another story.
Maybe he'll get bird flu or swine flu or whatever the next big flu is and be down and out for awhile...here's hoping anyway.Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.
