    Default Realmscon 2010 - Anyone Going??

    Here in South Texas, we have an Anime convention every year in Corpus Christi. My kids are really into this & are involved w/ the cosplay contests,etc.....anyone else going this year? Deadline to get your 3 day passes for $35 online is Sept.13th. If you get them at the door, they are $20 a day.

    I know my daughter would love to go and she could stay with my mom down there, but unfortunately she has to work. She goes each year to the San-Japan convention here in San Antonio and has a blast. Hope y'all have a great time.

    Wow... dh's friend & his daughter went to the San Japan this year too. Amber went to the Anime North in Canada....& she said it was HUGE.This anime stuff is really big. Some of the houseapes won't be going to realmscon b/c they have to work also. But Dh, the rest of the kids & I will be going. When I get the time, I really need to sift through all of the anime pictures & post an album here

    It would be great to see all your pictures. My DD would enjoy seeing them,too. I've never been to the conventions but from what my DD says, everyone there has a great time and the cosplay costumes are so dang creative. It's amazing how good they are.

    Michelle, if you go to the realmscon website, click on photos, click on 2009 and the first picture on the first page is Amber dressed as Link from the Legend of Zelda. She won an award last year for her hand-sewn costume
