I Hate Laundry Club.....
I am officially starting an "I Hate Laundry Club" -wanna join me?
Saturday I busted my butt & spent all day going back & forth to the clothesline with 4 HUGE loads of laundry. I finally caught up with the task & took a little "vacation" & skipped doing the laundry yesterday(Sunday). I went out to the garage this morning and AAAACCCCKKKK! there it was again!....4 big baskets of the dispicable stuff screaming for my attention. Can you not tell that laundry is my least favorite chore?lol...oh well

I had to drag myself out of bed to go and do the laundry. All the time worrying if there would be washers available. There was fortunately but I do not enjoy doing the laundry. One thing good is that I usually can get it washed and dried in about 1 1/2 hours every other week.
But it is one of those dreaded chores.
Right now I have to start going thru my clothes and changing everything out with the new season upon us.

Ha Ha Ha!! I can so join in. Got back from camping yesterday and managed to get all the clothes washed. It was / is too humid to hang on the line so I had to dry them in the dryer. Now, the linens, that's another story. I've got a pile of those that go up past my knee.
Laundry is not the LEAST favorite cleaning chore (that would be cleaning the shower) but it's right up there.

I will gladly join! It's not even so much the doing of the laundry as it is the folding and hanging. I HATE that part lol

I hate laundry AND dishes. I went back to using my dryer for right now until I get a better clothesline for in the garage. I wasn't too impressed with the smell of the Florida city air for my outdoor clothesline.

Is everyone in your picture contributing to the laundry pile? Several of them look old enough to contribute to actually doing the laundry. I was doing my own laundry by thirteen.

I'm in. I just installed two closet rod doublers in my daughter's room ($11-15 depending on type you get...for anyone that is interested). I don't mind doing laundry. It's putting it away that is the problem. Hauling it up two flights of stairs and putting it into drawers is not fun. ugh. Makes me feel lazy to type it. It really isn't bad if I did it after each load, but that never happens. LOL
I organized her dresser, too. Hung an over the door organizer and tucked all of her underwear and socks into it (faces inside her walk in closet) and the only things in her dressers are t-shirts, undershirts, pajamas, sweaters/sweat shirts and rarely worn and out of season clothing.
Everything else is HUNG. Tops on the top rod and dresses and pants on the bottom rod. Skirts are on the top shelf of her closet. I tried the 5 day hanging organizers for the school week and it was a so-so system for me. This year, I'm trying the hangers with clips on them. So I can hang complete outfits on Sunday for the upcoming week and she can pull what she wants to wear from those outfits. It's WAY easier with everything hung because I can SEE everything and it's way easier hanging than folding and stuffing into drawers. My son doesn't have nearly as many clothes, much more storage space and all of his clothes match one another, so no worries about him.
It took me three hours to sort, purge and organize her room (had to pull her bookcases and doll house out of her closet and into her actual room and move her shoe rack to be centered in her closet), but I'm ready for the school year.

My boys think an organized laundry system is a basket of clean, unfolded laundry that they can just pull their clothes out of, and the hamper-their bedroom floor. I however do not

I don't hate laundry, because my husband does it all!
