just need to get it out!!
I stepped down two and a half months ago and took a pay cut. Now everything is out of control. I am making payments late. I have bounced checks. So I am in a hole. I cant get out of the hole. Everytime I get paid I pay what I can to who I can and thats it. I am just about to lose my mind. So I decided today that I am going to the bank and try to get a $1000.00 loan to get everything caught up and get my checking account back to a positive amount. Then I will buy groceries and fill my gas tank.
I have decided to go ahead and get a second job. Part time. So that I can build an emergency fund and try to pay my truck off faster.
I cant stand all of this pressure. I have got to get this under control because it is driving me nuts.
Keep me in your thoughts please!!I love Lee!!

2nd job. GOOD idea!!!
Loan. BAD idea. You cannot borrow yourself out of debt. You can't get out of a hole by continuing to dig.
You need to get on a budget. Your money is out of control - you need to get your money in control because if your money is out of control, your life is out of control. If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Fairydana-I am in the same exact boat as you. I get paid and pay everyone that I can and it still isn't enough. I am also getting a 2nd job to help dig myself outta this mess. My problems came on when my husband got sick. I know that there is a light to the end of this debt tunnel. Just stay positive, know that you are doing the best that you can do and feel free to PM me anytime. Maybe we can work together to find a way outta this mess.

Getting a second job is a great plan and it will be hard but it doesn't have to be forever. It's so much easier to get into a mess then it is to get out. Good luck my friend

ok!! So luckily I did not get a loan. At first I was upset but then I realized that it was a good thing. I couldnt get a loan to pay them back what I already owe, or something like that. So I have been a busy little bee gathering change and having it rolled. I am almost out of that stinking hole. I have a plan and I am going to follow through with it. I know that I can make this change. And stick with it.
I went to two places about a part time job and I know the mgrs of these stores because I have worked with them in the past at walmart. Thank goodness I am such a hard worker and an overall good employee. They said that it would be two or three weeks but that they wanted me. So yay!!
Thanks for all the hugs and prayers. Also thanks so much for the advice!!!I love Lee!!

GOOD JOB! Way to stick to the straight and narrow!
