    Smile Good News/Bad News game

I thought the Good News/Bad News game could be fun to play.

    I'll go first

The Good News you just find out that your new insurance with pay for eye doctor check ups The Bad News your family all had check ups at the eye doctor a week before the insurance switch and you owe the eye doc $400. The Good News it looks like next years eye check ups with be $0.

The Bad News the new insurance is making the doctor jump through tons of hoops to approve your son's medicine and it is taking forever The Good News the doctor's office is giving you free samples while this is taking place saving you about $92 if insurance was paying an $300 if you had to pay it without insurance. ( who would have thought that you would be so happy that all the paper work was taking so long).

The Good News you get a temp job - the hours are only while your children are at school and will bring in some extra cash. The Bad News is you will be trading in your quiet life as a SAHM to school age children for a class of 10 1 to 2 year olds. The Good News the life with quints and sextuplelet shows seem more manageable after all the only have 6 or 5 in that age range. LOL and you are looking forward to the adventure.

Okay now it is you turn what are some Good News/Bad News ( or Bad/News Good News) that is happening in your life? or ones you just plain find funny

The good news a lot of milestone events coming up in the next 10 months. DD will be graduating from high school, ds will be graduating from college, ds will be getting married, great grandma will be turning 100. Bad news is how are we going to get all of this paid for. Good news it is kind of a fun challenge to see how we will pull it all off.
The reason dggm's birthday is included is because it will require a trip to Texas for the big bash and we live in florida, it will also require pulling dd out of school for a few days. Believe me she can use all the school days she can get! argh.

I'm guessing that the Good News/Bad News games wasn't as much fun as I thought it was as only two people played.

    Thanks for playing Jas

The Good News is that Hubby and I are going to Chicago to celebrate our 5th Anniversary this weekend. The Bad News is that I have an ear infection and the antibiotics interfere with my birth control pill, which puts an unpleasant kink in our anniversary trip. The Good News is that we have awesome health insurance and the unexpected ear infection didn't cost anything out of pocket, other than a $10 copay for medicines which I will be reimbursed for.

It is a fun game Imagine.

The Bad NewsMy first day on the job. Hubby couldn't get away for lunch to let the dog out. I came home to find everything she could find of ours ( human stuff- mainly socks, shoes and my exercise ball) piled in the middle of the room with all her toys she only chewed her bone. She ignored me when I came home. Guess she really missed me/us.

The Good News Dog are very forgiving a few minutes and a few pets on the head and I'm back in her good graces.

Bad news, I forgot to feed the cats before I left for the day.

Good news, they were waiting for me at the door when I came home. They did have water and were very happy to see me especially when I finally fed them.

The good news is> my sweet hubby got a small raise.

The bad news is> It came with the crappy remark "I hope YOU appreciate it", from his boss.

It was appreciated, but because of the economy, etc., it's been 5 years since the last one, and no note of appreciation was given to my husband for his commendable work. Oh, btw, it was $1 an hour raise. But because of my med bills, we truly are grateful for it none-the-less! I just know the "remark" made my husband feel bad.

    Fun game, imagine!
