I hate him!!!

Yesterday morning...Murphy plugged up the shower in the kids bathroom. Then this morning we woke up to find that Murphy had broken the toilet(won't flush) in the kids bathroom , bent dh's glasses, broke a hose on the pool, set up new ant colonies in the backyard after it rained (got bit up when I hung out laundry) and broke a fence board after talking my 2 stupid huskies into digging a nice hole near the fence line. GGRRR

As I walked back to the house after fixing the fence, I saw Murphy rolling around on the ground , laughing his big fat butt off - obviously, he was very pleased with himself with what he did. - I kicked him hard. Hopefully, he got the point....we haven't had anything happen for a few hours now.

Lol. Thanks...but I don't think that Murphy got the hint to hit the road. He's still on a roll....I took Sarah to the bank to cash her check - Murphy had shut down their system & now dd has to wait another day before she can get her money. Then when we got home, Murphy had whispered into dd's boss's ear that Sarah needed to come into work today - on her day off. Sucks to be us....today anyway.lol

Wow that is a bad roll ! I say spray some Murphy repellant all around the doors tonight. You know with what happened it has to be better tomorrow. Hang in there!

You're not dumb

It is actually called "Murphy's Law"...."If anything bad will happen, it will". Now & then you'll see posts here where people get whammied with everything breaking down at once, etc. Murphy has taken on somewhat of a personhood around here...someone that we all hate , somewhat like a gremlin that messes w/ stuff - he's very irritating. When he visits our house, I just like to make fun of the situation - it makes me feel a little better.....that's why I post my little "sarcastic" stories of his visits...I guess it gets me through it

Ahhh haaa! I was thinking that was what it was but then I was like nah can't be...
Well in that case I will share my Murphy moment with you that happened today... I needed to paint our camp or they were going to fine us (long story) So I got all the need things together and could not find the roller and tray... so on the way to camp stopped at the good ol wallmart to get one... well they are building a super walmart behind our walmart so there I am got all my goodies including the photos that I need to pick up and on the way to the checkout the lights start flickering and bam they are out and then generators kick in and they are back on... get to the front and find out that a truck took down the electric line and there is no power to the checkouts... they are closing till it is fixed I am told we are to leave our stuff and leave eta for fixing will be couple hours..... suck.... take photos back to lab and off to lowes I go.... got what i needed then off to camp...
then he visits again... we had gotten rid of a bee hive that moved in on the back of our shed about a month ago.... went to clean off the remaining nest so I can paint... husband assured me no bees are there yeah right start scraping and out come the bees...... So I figure paint the 3 sides and leave the last for hubby to deal with and got 2 done and ran out of paint.... GRRRR what a day....
