    Unhappy Explosion in San Bruno, California

    Around 6:15pm Pacific time an explosion happened in a residential neighborhood in San Bruno. They think it was from a broken natural gas main (not confirmed yet). The explosion sent a huge fireball thousands of feet into the air. Dozens of homes have burned up/are on fire. They've sent fire trucks even from our county over there to assist.

    We're watching it on the news right now. Its really bad. Everything's on fire. Burn victims sent to hospitals.

    I feel bad for those poor people. Please remember them in your prayers.

    That is horrible.........hadn't heard it. The poor people......will say a prayer that they get it under control. Sad!

    I believe 53 homes were lost and one is confirmed dead. How scary for those families.

    It is really sad.

    I was up past 1 AM reading about it and followed up this AM.

    Was reading an interesting blog.........which made an excellent point.......do you know how to shut off the gas line to your house? (not that they would have had time.....but numerous points were made in this blog and sure made me have a few thoughts)

    I couldn't help but feel sad for all the pets that got left behind.

    The last I heard, four had died. I think they said something about those involved getting unemployment for awhile which is nice. I can't imagine watching my home burn down just like that.
