FV and Facebook are my two favorites. And I can occasionally be found at 3fatchicks or lowcarbfriends.

on FB i dont friend people i dont know or accept friendships of people i dont know who they are and i have unfriended people i did know who only used it to play games and try to send me game stuff non stop or blocked their posts from coming up on my page automatically also if they use bad language or are excessively negative --
i know some that have zillions of friends so they can get more things to play the games but i keep my personal stuff personal .
as far as sending people pictures i figure the opposite if they want to see every pix i have the can join FB because i do not have the time to individually send out pix to people .
you can post photo albums on your FB page that one does not need to be a member to see.- there are different levels of hwo you post things .*~Debbi~*

I use Facebook, it's a great way to keep in touch with family strewn all over the country. I've also reconnected with old friends from high school and college that I probably never would have seen again without FB. However, I do keep very private and won't accept friends I don't know. Although "private", I don't post anything I wouldn't want the world to see.

First of all, you don't need to list all 43 at once...believe me you'll get there!
Secondly, you can PM anyone, or anyone can respond to your goals/posts or posts on their goals. There aren't forums like here, but there are teams I think, although I never join them, but I do join in helping others on their goals.
I'll PM you my 43t handle (or the main one anyway, I think I have 4?) Glad you like the site...obviously I've found it hugely helpfult!

I use Facebook and FV. I started on myspace but when facebook started i converted over. It's so easy to see my friends and familys updates and see pics of their families. I too get to see people on there that I dont' get to see in real life. One friend of mine moved to Korea and that made it impossible to see her but facebook helped. Its easier then emails because i can post an update and get responses all in one place instead of receiving multiple emails. I also don't friend people I don't know. I only have friends and family on my 'friends list' and a few "friends of friends" because I've met them a few times and we got along.

I'm on FB every day - great way to keep in touch with friends and family around the world. I'm on a couple of support groups for single mothers by choice (people like me who haven't met Mr. Right who decide to have or adopt a child as a single woman).
I'm also on treehugger.com which has great forums for getting more tips on how to be green and talking about green issues.
Right now I'm spending more time on Talk Christmas and I'll be spending more time on there as we get closer to the holidays. It's a great place to talk about traditions - old and new, share excitement, chat about decor and purchases; it's generally for people who love Xmas and get excited about it.Goals:

I hit a twins message board, another mom's message board that I hit mainly to keep in touch with a few people that used to be on the twins board, FV, another frugal board (about investing/retirement info), and I have two Facebook accounts (one for friends and one for family/old high school buddies).
Facebook is great to keep track of family. I am the black sheep and I keep to myself a lot and this way I can keep track of what is going on and not have to actually involve myself in anything. I never post updates on either Facebook account. I live a very boring life and I don't figure that everyone wants to know that I cooked dinner again.Beak-1996, Toad-1998, and Q-1998
