You're never going to believe this...(ok, maybe you will) :).... BUT......
we are moving A G A I N!!!!!!!
might I just add my own little....WHOPPIE!!!!!! here!?!?!?
Ok, so it's not quite that easy, here's the deal:
Hubby is propsing his company to move us back to the midwest and he will take over a new Eastern Business Unit (which they totally went for, and they think that he is THE MAN for the job!).... those conversations started a few months ago, but it's a S L O W process, and the head boss man is not quite as on board as my hubbys immediate boss, or the board of directors, or the business unit that is is dire need of some leadership. However, things started to move a few weeks ago, and they are thinking somewhere around the first of the year, or sometime next year. UGH... I say UGH because we have a nice house that will probably take some time to sell, and if we wait for them, we won;t be able to sell it fast enough prob.... so, hubby decided to talk to a few agents, and we decided on one last week. Well, the sign went in the yard today, and she has VERY INTERESTED ppl that know about our house and cannot wait to get inside of it!!!
Ok, so while I;m thrilled to have an interested buyer already, I'm A LITTLE (ok lots!!!!) stressed to be facing the prospect of a sold home and nowhere to go. If we sell soon, we may just move 15 minutes down the hill and rent an apt so that I can bring the boys back up to school three days a week.... or, the kids and I may move back to the midwest and rent a little apt and get them going with life back there and hubby will come out when he can. Ok, but we have to know taht the deal is done and WHERE we are going. We afre proposing Des Moines, with Kansas City as our second option.... WHOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!
I'll keep you all posted!!!!!Last edited by IntlMom; 09-13-2010 at 10:05 AM.

LOL! You truly have an amazing, ever-turning life, IntlMom! I don't know anything about the midwest, but I did know how much you wanted to get back there. Well good for you then! I hope everything goes according to plan. It sounds like you got all your "ducks in a row", so it should work out very nicely.
I understand completely how you feel about getting back too! I can tell you that I myself, left my heart in New York, and I just can't feel at home here in Fl. It's beautiful, but it's just not ever going to feel the way it should. So, I'm very happy for you to reconnect to where you "just know" you belong!
Hope the best for you and your family!

Frugally speaking, we have the cheapest water rates out of all the cities/burbs in the metro. Just food for thought.
