Did you ever belong to Brownies or Girl Guides?
I was a Brownie but didn't get a chance to go to Girl Guides.
How about you?

I was a brownie when I was in 2nd and 3rd grades...my mother was a troop leader. Then I stopped doing it altogether when I moved to a new town.

I was a Bluebird. I think the group was called The Rainbow Girls. Don't know if they even have that group any more. It was like Brownies and Girl Scouts.

Yep, my sisters and I were all brownies and I went on to girl scouts all the way up to cadet (I was about 15 when I stopped going) and Mom was the assistant leader.

I was a Brownie and then Girl Scout and then Cadet. I have not thought about it in years. I really enjoyed it. My kids were not interested in Scouting but they were in "Campfire kids" which is like scouting here in Texas.
I was also a Rainbow girl for a little while. It was part of the "Eastern Star" organization when I was a girl. It was way to much of a "secret society" for me. I think I was in high school or maybe junior high.
Blessings,
Kathy

Yep, Brownie here, and then Girl Scout. I stopped in 7th grade -- all Girl Scouts were more or less ostracized by the "popular" girls in school. I felt like a social misfit anyway, but really enjoyed Girl Scouts. Now my 8-1/2 year old niece is a Brownie and I bought Girl Scout cookies from her last year.
