    Default went thrifting today

    i worked but wasnt real close to home but was to thrifts i sometimes go to so stopped in , in my travels.

    between patients today
    did better than i expected with the prices the way they have been lately ( hugh )

    at the one thrift got my 9 yo 4 pairs of PJ / lounge pants 2 in a size tor fit him now 2 in a size to fit him next year or so - i paid 3.60 for all 4 because it was a boys buy 1 get 1 free day .

    oddly enough these were all in really good condition looked hardly worn and were marked under 2$ each while some faded worn and pilly ones were marked 5$ each .-

    then to good will
    got myself a pair of like new soft flannel PJ pants 1.99
    and got a new with tags on caboodle for 19 yo for 1.99 for christmas for make up organizing - looks like it had a few craft things stored in it so will just get the marker marks off that are inside and it will look new and who knows why it was used with the tags still on - but thats all the better for me.

    now i have the one i trash picked ( ahem treasure hunted at a apt complex in the box next to the dumpster as someone had moved out and tossed this stuff ) for Megan and this pink one for amanda so maybe they can keep all their make up nail polishes etc organized after christmas !

    love thrifting. have got to stop!!! been doing it at least 3x a week for the past few wks...got some great deals, but still..need to stop!

    you did great imo

    the other day i got 2 J Jill Wearever shirts for 2.99 ea!!!

    I was in utter shock Wed. I stopped by goodwill. Found a pair of pj's for older grandson.The lady rang them up at $5.99 i said why are these 5.99 and other ones in near new condition was $2.99. There were not the size i needed. She says we have different people price them. As much as i hate walmart they do have them for $8 a set.I had her void them out.

    That they have different people pricing things means that they should just go with the lowest price IMHO!!

    I am so glad that I have not gone thrifting - I so need to get rid of so much stuff first!! However.....on the other hand......I absolutely LOVE hearing about everyone else's scores!!

    i need to stop thrifting! it has become a kind of obsession w/ me lately!!! although i have found some fab stuff, i need to purge and stop going!
