Default what is lindsay lohan doing out of jail?

    i don't get it?
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

It's darned hard to stay in jail for any length of time in most areas, celebrity or not. Too expensive for the state to keep people.

but she's a celebrity...do we expect our celebs to pay for their transgressions? (said sarcastically, haha)

I'm with you. I don;'t get how she can so readily thumb her nose at the judge and rules set fourth, and get away with it. not once but several times...in the same year!!

Inkstain is right. Now a days people really don't stay in jail that long. Usually.

She should be in mandatory REAL rehab, not jail. And not some cushy rehab that she's been to before "claiming" that it worked. American taxpayers are spending FAR too much on keeping drug users in jail. Big time dealers, sure. People who endanger or hurt others, fine. But if you're just an addict who needs rehab to stop, send them to rehab and wish them luck. No point in wasting my money just so you can use again once you get out.

I don't get why people care. What does she have to do with any of *our* lives?
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

As long as she's not driving high, it has little relevance to my life.

The state is making money from her, as long as she's willing to continue paying...
