Greetings from Canada
The questionnaire post suggested I create a new thread.
How did you hear about frugal village?
I used to go to the Newsgroup "misc.consumers.frugal-living" but it seems Usenet is one big Spam Wasteland. So I googled "frugal forums"
What interests you here?
I'm fresh out of University and starting a career. As such I may face big decisions such as potential relocation, need of a vehicle etc. I won't be on as tight a budget as some people, nor am I in debt. I think it's important to start out in a good financial mindset so I don't fall in any traps.
As it is now I'm not a spendthrift, and I don't enjoy spending money so I don't need a major mindset change. I just want the most for my money.
Goals include being able to save away money for Emergency fund, Retirement, maybe even a house. As well living a frugal lifestyle means a drop in income wouldn't be an emergency.
What will you contribute?
I don't know, different perspective
Do you know any other members here? No.
How many kids? Ages? No.
Tell us about yourself.
I'm one of the few men here apparently.
Do you own any pets? No.
Occupation? Engineer
Married or single? Single
Interests and hobbies?
Computers and movies.

Thanks all!

@Lady_V: What icon?
The very idea of debt makes me ill. The fact that money (interest) essentially is thrown away for no gain.
Something I know I will have to work on is Grocery costs. While I rarely eat out and can cook, my cooking skills are quite basic. As I get settled I hope to improve my ability, with more varied menu items, and the ability to master sales / pricebook, etc.

Hello and Welcome. You will love it here.
If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal. Not to
people or things.
