I just want to
BOOT my husband out of bed! Seriously his snoring is bad. He has had sleep studies done and passed with flying colors.I don't see how. I can tell he breaths really hard. He is always tired when he wakes up,some days better then others.I wear earplugs and i can still hear him. Oh i just can't wait till my daughter hears it. She doesn't believe me when i tell her how bad he snores. It gets so bad he wakes up DD and grandsons.

I have the same problem here, but what can we do? My sweetie snores on his back AND on his side. So the "roll over" theory doesn't work in his case.
I've seen those sprays, and have my doubts about them, but I do wonder about asking him to try those nasal strips though.
Has anybody on here have a "tried & true" solution? I know a couple of wives who use earplugs (lol), and one who actually moved into a different bedroom
, but niether of those a really what I want (especially the last one)...lol!
So anybody? Me and nana need help!!

My dad had his "uvula" removed. He still snore, but not as bad. Now I'm not saying send them out and have it done. I know DH has used that snore spray and it seems to work pretty well.

My kids saw a spray at the store and beeeegggggggged me to buy it. I was so amused that I did. It does a pretty good job too. It is called "Snore Extinguisher" and looks like a little fire extinguisher. It reduces inflammation in the throat that cause many to snore. He still makes a little noise but not the choking goose noises he was making. I can tell when he forgets to take it. I end up on the sofa downstairs. I have also noticed since my dr made me go vegan that DH only makes noises when he eats out (meat).

Have you thought about adding some white noise of some sort? My BF keeps the fan on in the master bath. If drowns out the neighborhood but isn't loud enough to bother his sleeping.
I use one of those bedside clocks that plays sounds. Usually rain or the ocean.
Maybe with the background noice and your earplugs, you can get some rest.

DH makes a lot of noise when he's on his side facing me!!!
He's relatively quiet on the other side (he has asthma, so it's never truly quiet) but I guess he feels that he sleeps better facing me.

my hubby snores bad.... but when he uses breath rites and nozovents it is greatly reduced or eliminated (depending on the day) but try them they work.... he uses the extra strong large breath rites. we have found the cheaper ones do not work.

Hubby is worse facing me also. I wake him up roll him over he will be ok for the first hour or so then its back to snoring. We have tried the nose strips. Doc said all those sprays was just money grabbers. I finally made him prop himself up a little last night and he did better.

My husband use to wake me up alot too - tried one of those anti snoring mouth guards - it was a little pricey - $49 -
but well worth it . It lasted a year and we just had to replace it.

My boyfriend used to snore a lot. He had sleep studies done and has sleep apnea. I was freaking out, because everyone I've ever known to have sleep apnea has to sleep with the machine and their partner can't sleep because of the noise and thay have to sleep in seperate rooms. Yeah I can't do that! lol So how surprised was I when I actually sleep better since we brought the machine in the bedroom. His breathing is so relaxing to me now. But lord sometimes he takes it off and and he starts snoring. Keep doing the sleep studies. The first might be wrong.

My husband uses those too (for sinus congestion), but they only help the snoring a little bit. Since I sleep like a corpse, I don't hear the snoring anyway. The only time it's a problem is if I'm trying to fall asleep - then I can't cuz he's so LOUD.We have tried the nose strips.
Occasionally, I just have to move to the sofa if I want any sleep at all.
We use a fan all night in warm weather, and a white noise cd (fan sound) during winter. That helps to drown out all noises somewhat.
To be honest, if the snoring kept me up most nights I'd just start sleeping in a separate room every night. I need my rest or I'm just plain evil.
