Getting too old to move people
Yesterday and today was the moving day for my daughter. How in the world can they have so much in a 2bdrm apartment beats me. Started at 8 am yesterday finished for the day around 7pm. Up early again today got a few things done and went back to pick up the last few items.Im so tired. My cold was going away but now i feel like its coming back and coming back hard..My grandsons soccer game is in the morning he missed last week because he was sick. So of course. My daughter started a new job and she has been training for the last few days and will be for the next 3 days. So that makes soccer nana for tomorrow.. Oh well. So hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and for those that live here in the midwest ,they are calling for frost.. So not ready for that.

people or things.

Hang in there nana! It really WILL get better. When I lived on Long Island, NY, we moved quite a bit. It never ceased to amaze me just how much stuff we had till it came time to pack it...UGH!
But at least it sounds like the worst is over, and you DD and DGSs can settle in for a fresh start. I really have a feeling it's gonna be a good move for everyone. I've seen the pics of those 2 little boys, and I can't imagine it being anything but alot of fun seeing those adorable faces everyday.
And I'm sure your daughter is appreciating her mom right now.
But stay warm, and do get some much needed rest. You need to get rid of that cold of your's too.
Hugs!

As Theresa says, it'll be worth it in the end. Try not to overdo this weekend. You're a wonderful mom and grandma.

Nana - You're not too old - you just didn't have you're game on as you were getting over a cold.
Here's a story - Got conned into helping my son's step-sis move as I have a truck. I was backing into her driveway at 8am. More help soon followed. As soon as my truck was full, I directed the next one in and so on.
At one point, all the helpers (including my son and the only other man) were sitting down in the driveway and I was still humping stuff into the next vehicle. The other guy looked at my son and said "Wow! Talk about motivation!" DS replied, "Naw, she's a morning person. Let her go." To which I replied, "So if DSS isn't done by noon she's S.O.L.!" and they got back to work.
I was pulling out of her new home by 11:15am (60 miles away).
And I was sore, beat, bloody and bruised the next day. We're not too old, we just take more time to recover. Ha Ha!
