Hi guys its been a while...formally GibblerKelly
Its been such a long time since I have been here and actually posted. We have had a very.....umm....not sure what word to use, Stressful year I guess would suffice.
I think when I was here before my husband had been laid off and on employment insurance. Since then his employment insurance has run out and he has been having a hard time aqquireing a job. I do have a chance of picking up a few hours at a local store here as they need someone in the comming months up till Christmas, so I am hoping that works out.
My husbands grandfather had to have a tumor removed from his brain, and he is doing quite well now, with no lasting problems caused by it.
My aunt had a heart attack and was in hospital for 5 weeks (on life support two times during that) and then passed away. Which was very hard on everyone.
Because of her passing away we were given a lot of her furniture and things. My son (6) said "Mom, I think this is soon going to be aunt Delilah's house" because there was a lot of her things here.
I was given a couch and love seat set that was only a couple of years old, a very big china cabnet, two double beds, one for my daughter and one for my oldest son, a book case, filing cabnet, two tv stands, dressers and so much more stuff. So we had to make 8 trips and hour and a half each way to get the stuff.
I also helped pack up much of her house, which was hard going through all of her items. I am very greatful that they though about us to give her items to. I have some very nice things to remember her by now.
My friend had just moved home from Alberta, her and her husband and three children, they pretty much came with very little....just the clothes they had in suitcases for the plane...so I gave them my old couch and chair, a twin bed, a toddler bed, and a bunch of other things like bed clothes and things that I didnt need because I had been given so much stuff from when my aunt passed away.
Pay it forward right!
My husbands grandfather that had the tumor removed failed a stress test a couple of weeks ago and now has to go and get the dye put in, so we are really hoping that everything comes back good and that he does not have any blockages.
Its just been a very stressful bit of time from March until now. We are totally hoping for a better year to come.
I hope to be back now to continue my learning experiences here and great friendships.

Welcome back Kelly - thank you for checking in with us. I was beginning to wonder about how you and your family was doing with all the goings on this summer for you. Glad to hear that some of the hard stuff has passed. Take each hurdle as it comes.
And yes - pay it forward - always a good thing.
