Funny words your kids invented?
When my sons were little (they're grown) they had a few words they just came up with ----invented. They cracked us up.
One of the words that they both used for awhile was 'McStructions' for the word 'instructions'. Like as in when Daddy is putting together something Santa brought.. "Daddy, read the McStructions."
Obviously, my kids had been to McDonalds one too many times....
Another one was from my younger son--at about age 2-1/2, he started to run around the house and say 'Yippooo' when he was excited about something. I guess it's sort of a cross between Yahoo and Yippee.
What did/do your kids say that is a word/phrase all their own?______

Wesley used to say packback instead of backpack and the tub-bub instead of bathtub.
He also used to ask for a buh-nan-buh-nan-buh-naaaaaaaaaaan instead of a banana.
Currently, he calls Zac's dad and stepmom Gramma and Grampa Wally. Wally is their dog...Wesley said (and I quote, "That's Wally's house. Gramma and Grampa just live in it.)McD

Mine is because kiddo was about 24 month and couldn't talk to well yet. He called oatmeal "elp elp". Cute but not at the store. He loved loved loved oatmeal. We were at the grocery in the cereal isle and he saw a box with the quaker guy on the box. He started yelling" elp elp "at the top of his lungs. I said no and he started crying yelling "elp elp" louder. WE had quite a concerned crowd as everyone thought I was carrying a little boy yelling "help help!" I had to hold him up towards the box telling him to show me the "elp elp" the crowd got it and started laughing. For a minute there I expected the police!

Hmmm! The 1st thing to come to mind is my son Anthony at about 3, would say "that is so AGONating". It was a combo of ~agony~ and ~aggravating~.
We still say it today.
Also, he used to brag to everybody about my lasagne, (still does
) but when he did, he would say I was a good ~cooker~ Awww! I loved him for it, and it's another word we still use.
Those were the days!

Too funny! My parents are Grandma & Papa Blue because they had a dog named Blue when my girls were little. It stuck. Blue has since died (at the ripe old age of 15) and they are still Grandma & Papa Blue.
Tractor was "Too-Track"
Tuna fish was "kitty cat" because it's in the same size/shape can as cat food lol.
Apples were "boppies"
Living room was Lithing room for the LONGEST time!
Lasagna is BA-ZAH-NYA

Oldest ds called his blanket (actually it was a crib comforter) "Buppy" and his pacifier was "Pa". He would sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and at the "up above the world so high" he'd sing "Bup bup bup the world so high". I'm sure there are others, but that's all I can think of at the moment.
We still have "Buppy" and my ds is almost 19, but he doesn't carry it around anymore of course. It was very, very well loved back when he did though...lol. During the last few years that he "loved Buppy" I was afraid every time that I washed it that it would fall apart. It was Winnie-the-Pooh with bright, primary colors and now it has very little color left except for the overall grayness that set in over years of love. Good memories...

Yes! We still say Yippooo and McStructions, even with the kids not living here anymore.
oooooh.......I just thought of another one. Whenever my littlest one put on his (Mickey Mouse) sunglasses, he would say 'GahhhhhSeeeez'.
So we still say 'GahhhhSeeeez.' For all kinds of eyeglasses.______

My DD calls a seat belt - a "belt seat" .

DD said "googie" instead of sticker for a while.
As a child, I said "fer-ticket-it" instead of certificate and "destructions" instead of instructions and those have both followed me until adulthood.Working on Our Debt a Day at a Time:
