I had my race car from age 40-42 and sold it last year....maybe I'll always be young and hopefully not too stupid since I'm already looking forward to having another one someday.

"Back when I was young and stupid, I decided to get married right out of high school (marriage is not the part I regret...love my husband dearly) and even though I could have I did not go on to college even though it was over 4 years before we had children, and then at age 36 I had a stroke that started a catapult of health issues and now I'm to ill to even consider it.

I have 2 wonderful children and by the grace of God have been able to give them what I turned down.
Wife of Danny for 28 years...the love of my life and my best friend.. 28 years of marriage and my heart still goes pitter patter when he winks at me.

    Mother of 2

    Dustin 24...
I'm so very proud of my wonderful family. God has truly truly blessed me.

"Back when I was young and stupid, I thought doctor's knew everything and if they predicted it, it would happen that way. Now I know that doctor's don't know everything. They practice medicine, and when they predict, they are taking an educated guess but that's still what it is, a guess."

Back when I was young and stupid I took for granted that some people would always be there Now I realize that nothing lasts forever and I regret the wasted moments and opportunities

Back when I was young and stupid I thought saving for a rainy day was stupid, then I realized it rains a lot more than I thought. Now I know even if it isn't raining, having savings really makes you sleep better at night and can also be used to splurge on sunny days-occasionally.
Save. It does a body good.

Back when I was young and stupid I thought my friends were more important than my younger sister. Now I realize my mom was right when she said, "Friends are for now and sisters are forever."

back when I was young and stupid I didn't buy "mini bonds" for $500 earning 12% interest! What makes me even more stupid is I was the one on the phone telling everyone else how great they were!

Back when I was young and stupid, I thought that work should be the most important thing in my life. That I should spend every moment I could doing everything I could to make myself successful and profitable. Now that it's too late I know that loved ones should always come first as they will not be there forever and you can always make a dollar.

I thought that it wasn't enough for me to BE successful but that I must show everyone else through my possessions that I was.

Back when I was young and stupid, I used to think my Mom was crazy for pouring over the sales ads and cutting coupons.

Now I'm asking Mom for advice on where to find the best coupons and pouring over the sales ads myself.

when i was young and stupid, i drank and drive (thank goodness nothing that bad ever happened) now, we stay home alot or hire a driver so that drinking and driving is not an issue....

when i was young and stupid, i racked up lots of bills and never paid them until i HAD to....or should i say, that when i met dh, he said...do you old bills in need of paying?? thank goodness for a good man! and that i met him in a great economy...

when i was young and stupid i thought i was invincible...i now know that was a ridiculous young thought...

Back when I was young and stupid my father told me to expect the best, and I would get the best. Now I know that he was right.

Back when I was young and stupid I hurt someone dear to me and now I wish I could take it back. Lesson learned though and now I try very hard not to make that stupid mistake again.
