I Bought My Husband a Ladder
Hubby's birthday is coming up and I was really stumped about what to get him. So I bought him a ladder. It's one of these multi-fold types that can extend to be long, or bend to be like a step ladder, or even turn into a mini scaffold.
Guys, how would you feel about getting a ladder like this? Has anybody out there used one of these?Spiritual:
"You are fearfully and wonderfully made." Please... respect life.
Financial:
Debt free, hoping to stay that way!

I would totally love getting one. I do a lot around the house and think it would be good for any handyman around the house.

Got my DH one years ago and he LOVES it and uses it all the time! When my teens were little kiddos - they would use it to make all type of obstacle course shapes too.
Just yesterday, he used it to lean the ladder like an 'L' to reach and change a recessed light in our cathedral ceiling.

I used that ladder when I was painting the outside of the house and when it came to painting the very top of the 12 foot ceiling in our landing. It's quite honestly the best ladder you'll ever find. If it's like the one I used, it has those pins that you pull out on either side that allows for adjustment of length. That's fantastic for painting up high when there are stairs in the way.

As Man Gifts go it's good. However, the fact that it doesn't plug in somewhere or have a motor *is* a point against it.
Power tools > ALL ELSE!
But we have one of those ladders - the smaller kind - and they are very handy. I'd like to get a couple more larger ones over time.If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
