Laugh of the Day

So I was driving to the produce market this morning, down a major street in St. Petersburg. I'm in the process of stopping at a light, on a 6 lane (3 going each way obviously) + 1 turn lane intersection. An Ibis started to cross the road IN THE CROSSWALK LINES at the left side and proceeded, cautiously even, clear over to the right side of the road! It was hysterical, he even waited for the person in the right lane that was making a turn (and obviously didn't see him) before he continued. There was a lady in the car to my right that was having just as good of a time with it as I was LOL.

So, what was your laugh for the day?

Wish we had neat critters like that here...........

We have the scary ones........moose........a cougar hanging out near a school

I am like FF.....bears, cougars and wolves here....nothing neat like that!

You two are crazy! Those are totally neat IMO! Back in Indiana we really didn't have anything cool....we had raccoons, and squirrels, deer...some coyotes. I love seeing all of the birds and things down here, and the dolphins off the balcony, but wild cats and bears would be awesome

My mom grew up in northern MI (not the UP) and said they used to see black bears up there, but only when she was really young.

Oh, I just remembered. We do have a rouge chimpanzee or something down here. He's made his way all over the Tampa Bay area and has yet to be caught LOL. It's been going on for some time now...I want to say years but I'm not sure. They did a huge article in the St. Pete Times a few months ago, with a map of Pinellas/Hillsborough Counties and all of the places he'd been spotted. He really gets around LOL.
