Got two 10# (the better to fit in the deep fryer, my dear)
I have a picture of DD#2 at her first Thanksgiving sitting on the kitchen counter next to the turkey- which outweighed her!

Our local grocery store ran a special. $.49/lb. with a $10 puchase.
I bought 2~!!!! For $10/ea...they were 20 lb. turkeys. I figure around January we will be ready for another turkey dinner.
Heck...around here...Purdue roasters are around $10...and I get many more meals from this.

Mine is about 13 pounds. It's just me, my husband and our 3 little turkeys so I intentionally got the smallest I could find.

We just bought a 20 lb. turkey for .88/lb at Target. We've never had Butterball turkeys and my aunt swears they are the best so we decided to get a Butterball one this year. At Publix, their brand is .65/lb and I have a $5 off coupon so we might get an extra turkey to keep in the freezer since it would be about $9 for a 20 lb. turkey.

We've got a 7 lb. breast roast. It's just the two of us, but I want to be able to have turkey sandwiches on homemade bread for awhile, too.
