    We're starting to get what is going to be pretty much the first hard snowfall of the year. 5-10cm tonight through Tuesday, 5-10cm Wednesday, then it'll stop on Saturday and Sunday. Then it starts all over again...

    I am SO not prepared for winter. (Well I am, but it's not to say that I want it)

    I feel bad for you. We got a foot the other day. It looks lovely but I am not ready for it either. This snow will stay I think. Now the temps are not getting over 20 during the day.

    We don't get lot snow here if we get any thing it is ice some time snows a little on top of ice. Got more snow last winter then we did in a long time.

    We inherited an ergonomic shovel from DH's work closing and a 44lb bag of ice melter that works below -32C, so we're more prepared this year than last. I just wish I didn't have to use it so early. It took me about 50 minutes to shovel the driveway and the sidewalk and the steps, plus I laid down that ice melter (and that stuff is golden).

    it is a nice day here supposed to get in the low 80's. If it stays below 80 I am good. I just don't want to turn the air on again.

    I love snow, only for about a week though. Last year I spent the holidays with family in Wisconsin. It was the first time I have been in snow in 30 years. After the week and a half I was there I was over it. It was magical at first not so much as time went on.

    I didn't have to shovel anything or scrape windows, and all that other stuff.
