Taking advantage of early sales.

I've been taking advantage of all the savings wherever possible to buy gifts this year. I've been getting % off, $10.00 off etc to buy Christmas gifts this year and its working out pretty well. I've manged to get some nicer gifts this way. Just picked up another at our Tractor Supply. I had got a coupon in the mail for $10.00 off $20.00. Sunday I picked up a couple more gifts that were half off + 30% at another store. My son got a new suit to which he needed and received $20.00 in Kohl's bucks too. He's going back to get a shirt to match the suit. If he didn't need the shirt I'd use the bucks for another gift.

Anyone else checking out the early sales and saving where they can?

Yes! I'm almost done shopping and got some really good buys online. No rushing around in a crowded store later.

Same here, I want to be able to enjoy the holidays without rushing around. DD is taken care off, and I am saving any gift cards and such from deals for DD bday gifts in January.
