Thanks everyone for the prayers, and positive thoughts, they are very much appreciated.
The lump is bigger in the nipple area, and then growing more oval towards her arm pit, but that part is a little different from the initial lump that is directly under the nipple.
My feelings are rather calm, so I am not really expecting it to be anything serious....Hopefully Puberty changes, but in my mind I kind of think it may be a cyst. Hopefully it goes away on its own and does not have to be removed.
Shes doing rather well, does not seem to be scared by it. So we are keeping the calm feelings about it.Kelly

I am no doctor, but from what I have learned is that sometimes this happens to children when they are about to start puberty. The lumps can develope in one breast or both. Sometimes they will go away on their own and sometimes they can remain for 2 yrs before disappearing. My 12 yr old son has the same thing going on right now. At first it was both breasts, now its only one. You were wise to consult a doctor to keep an eye on this. Its encouraging that the blood tests are coming back normal
I will keep your daughter in prayer. *hugs*

Still waiting on the appointment to come, I am unsure of weather they will be calling of sending it in the mail. I am really hoping we can get it done before Christmas, at least that way we will know that test is done and that an answer as to what it is will come not too long after.
It feels different this morning, the swelling in the nipple seems to be a little less, but the lump is still the same size, and what is spread out from that feels a little different, I dont know how to explaine.
I have been continueing to put the warm cloths on it and hope that it helps.
She accidently hit her breast when she was leaning into the table at school and said that it hurt.
So far we still have a great out look on what it might be.Kelly

Mahalo for posting this - I am sure that someone reading your thread needs this info also. Your attitude is wonderful and will be a baseline behavior for her for the rest of her life - to the point, not waiting and not getting overly emotional - as hard as that might be.
Sending prayers, hugs and aloha to you all as you travel down this path.Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

How very scary.
Her blood results are a really good sign though. It is a shame to get to the bottom of it she will have to go through a biopsy
I am sorry your family has to go through this at all let alone at Christmas!
I hope in 12 months time when you are celebrating Christmas next year this will be a distant horrible memory!

You are to be commended for how you are handling this...so many people would jump into a worse case scenario...and then find out that they worried for nothing! The most wonderful thing about this forum is that it reaches so many people. In this case we have members who have experienced similar situations with their own children. That must give you some sense of relief. Please keep us informed of the situation...we all care!!!

I agree with Valerian. Somehow I think it's nothing. I remember my own kids at young ages having lumps sometimes, and as it stands, they were nothing. I hope the same for your little girl, she sounds brave, and that's thanks you you mom!
Keep us posted!
HUGS!!
