    Default Hi!

Hi, My name is Erin I am 24 I live with my boyfriend of 6 years. I have recently I guess you could say "grown up" i am 100% motivated. I want to be in a house asap, start a family and have a life together.

I am prob about 4g in debt and over the last year I have been tracking and budgeting all of our bills. I give every dollar a name/home a place to be. I save what I can I would be at my $1,000.00 savings goal as over nov. but some things came up so I am hoping to be back at the goal by feb/mar.

After I reach my goal I hope to pay off at least half of my aprox 4,000.00 debt if not more.

My boyfriend is currently in school with about a year and 6 months to go, which we recently have found out he maybe able to shorten that time.

This saving money, getting on track and out of debt has become an obsession for me. I have started shopping at thrift stores, i wont spend more than $20.00 on a pair of pants or around $15.00 on a shirt from a retailer.

We don't have cable tv, we just combined our car insurance to save an extra $53.00 a month, and that includes adding renters insurance.

I have never been a "church" person but go with family every now and then... recently went and what was said really opened my mind to a few things in life. I am hoping to make a little more of an attempt to go more often.

My boyfriend has paid off most of his debt already and again I am hoping in 2011 to pay off half if not more.

I am already doing all of the right steps which made me very proud of my self when I came across both Dave Ramsey & Larry Winget and what the suggest you do and have you do... I am on my way and learning a lot from both of them.

I hope to share my expedience a long the way with the new people I meet on this site!

    Erin

Welcome Erin!! Sounds like you've really made an effort to join the adult world.

Know what I think? I think you're 'gazelle intense' and you'll have a lot more than HALF of that 4K knocked out in 2011. Keep us posted. There's a lot to learn here.
