    Default Keeping Fingers Crossed...

Old Man had an interview for an internal transfer last Tuesday, at 6am

The job would mean he would no longer have to work outside all the time because he would be one of the Regional Trainers. He would be working for the parent company and would no longer have to deal with the donkey office manager because they would be pecking order equals.

There were a total of 3 candidates, and he was told he wouldn't hear back from them until the end of January.

Today he walked in to work and someone pulled him aside and told him he had a second interview, but to keep it under his hat because no one is suppose to know yet.

At the end of the day, the donkey pulled him over and officially told him he has his second interview on Tuesday (Dec 28) at 6am. The Regional guy wasn't impressed with the only person that was any real competition. He isn't even getting a second shot.

So... next Tuesday he has to "walk the walk" and give his oral presentation. I need to prep him Thurs, Fri and Sat (he'll be working the other days) counting his verbal fumbles, critiquing his physical ticks etc.

Yes, this position means he would be taking a pay-cut, but we'll manage one way or the other if it means he doesn't have to be on sloped roofs 60' up on icy, blizzard days!
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!
